The second meeting of the MyAirCoach project was hosted by the Leiden University Medical Center in the Netherlands. The meeting gave to the consortium the opportunity to discuss their progress and the future directions of the project and plan the next steps and activities. Special focus was given to the design and deployment of the foreseen test campaigns and the definition of the sensing components of the system.
Project News
The first results of the myAirCoach project were presented in the recent congress of the International Society for Aerosols in Medicine. Dr. Konstantinos Votis described the current state-of-the-art technologies in the field of mobile health technologies and positioned the goals of myAirCoach in this framework and towards the optimized management of asthma.

EFA as the responsible partner for the project’s dissemination and visibility has successfully published the first article in the news of European Commision under the title “myAirCoach: Asthma management and control from a mobile phone”. EFA is also working for the definition of project’s visual identity, the design of the new logo and templates that will ensure visibility and consistency in all communications of the project.
In January, the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas hosted the kick-off meeting of MyAirCoach project in Thessaloniki, Greece. The project, funded by EU Programme Horizon 2020, brings together 12 research centres, academia, patient organisations and innovative SMEs from all over Europe.
